Rags to Riches Book 1 Piano Accompaniment for Solo Treble Recorder Book is brim full of brilliant ragtime music by Scott Joplin and James Scott, and comprises ten pieces – Two Steps, Rags, and Waltzes – arranged especially for the intermediate and advanced treble (alto) recorder player. The piano accompaniment is also suitable for intermediate and advanced pianists. The solo treble recorder part is available separately and backing tracks (solo recorder, recorder & piano, and solo piano) are free to download from our website.

A few are tricky, some less challenging, and are arranged so that the level of difficulty in the clarinet part is progressive, as is the note range – notes span just over two octaves, from low F to high G, keeping mostly well within this range. Expect lots of jaunty tunes, some complex rhythms, and a few soaring melodies. Something for everyone!
