TreaTea has committed to introducing the authentic vibe of oriental tea culture to Australia. Narcissus Tea, or Shuixian Cha, originates in Zhangping city where our family farm is located at. This semi-fermented oolong tea is named after the dreamy landscape where the tea tree was first discovered. Narcissus Tea is rich and mellow in flavour. The clear amber-coloured tea soup tastes pure and sweet with an elegant floral aroma that smells like orchid or osmanthus. In 2022, the traditional tea processing techniques of Narcissus Tea was added to UNESCO list of world intangible cultural heritage. BREWING: Place one pack of tea leaves into a gaiwan, or a bowl with a lid. Add 150 ml of boiling water. Steep for around 30-40 secs and drain it. Refill 150 ml of boiling water. Steep for 20 seconds and serve. 6 infusions or more. PACKAGE: Individually sealed, 10 packs in a box. Each pack is about 10g.
