How do I install the steering wheel cover?

Step 1 : Use double-sided tape

  • First, stick the double-sided tape on the inside of the steering wheel cover at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.
  • Then, put the steering wheel cover on the steering wheel.

Step 2 : Adjust position

  • Fix the position with double-sided tape so that the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock directions of the steering wheel cover are completely consistent with the steering wheel.

Step 3 : Start sewing

  • It is suggested to sew from the middle to both sides. The thread should not be cut short and tied with a knot, leaving half the length on both sides.

Step 4 : Sew to the end

  • Sew to the end, tie a knot, and cut off the excess thread.

Step 5 : Repeat steps 3 and 4 to finish sewing the remaining positions.

  • Note 1 : the length of the line needs to be greater than 3 times the side length. (if the side length is 20cm, the length of the line is 60cm.)

Step 6 : Repeat steps 3 and 4 to finish sewing the remaining positions.

  • Note 2 : During the sewing process, the strength should be consistent and should be tightened to prevent loosening in the later stage.

Step 7 : Adjust the excess leather

  • Use a scraper to stuff the extra leather in the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock direction into the gap of the steering wheel. (the leather is very thin and soft, and will not damage your steering wheel)

Step 8 ：Repeat step 7
